The training courses were designed to deliver a mixture of theory and practice on groundwater sampling. The content of the day included an overview of sampling methodology accompanied by demonstrations and hands-on time with a range of sampling equipment.
This provided delegates with an essential insight into traditional, low flow and passive groundwater sampling methodologies, as well as defining the pros and cons for each one. The practical aspect of the course is very important because it gives delegates a feel for the practicality of different sampling techniques in a field setting.
Feedback from delegates included comments on the content;
- "Spot on, very informative and pitched at the right level. The team fielded questions very well."
- "Level of info was fantastic - now clear on options available and can change company procedure with the aim of moving forward."
- "Fantastic venue with far better catering than for most training courses"
Our next training course is entitled "Using Dataloggers for Groundwater Level Measurement
Accuracy and Good Field Practice" on 18th November 2009.
