Waterra has had a pretty good year, despite the recession, and one of the high points has been an increase in international enquiries and orders.

Our technical sales team have dealt with enquiries for groundwater monitoring equipment from as far afield as Kazakhstan, Indonesia and China. It's partly due to improvements in our website, which have made it easier to find, but the growth in enquiries from developing nations is also due to the increasing recognition of how vital it is to look after groundwater supplies.

Industrialisation brings many benefits but as developed countries in Europe and North America will attest, there is a cost. Groundwater is very vulnerable to contamination and without adequate monitoring it is all too easy to create problems for the populace.
