Tim Davies shows off the Powerpack PP1 actuator |
We have had some very good feedback from the CPD accredited groundwater sampling training courses that we ran at the end of March.In purely quantitative terms the overall average score given by delegates was 1.5 where 1 = Excellent and 5 = Poor.
Qualitative feedback was very encouraging too. Here are just a couple of comments that we received;
’Very informative, broad and answered all questions fully. Given me a lot to think about in terms of QC – thank you’.
‘Very worthwhile, learned a lot about sampling methods and pleased with certificate!’
The Waterra team really enjoyed the opportunity to interact with such a diverse group of clients from the groundwater monitoring sector. Amongst others we had representatives from the water supply industry, nuclear energy, environmental consultancy and landfill monitoring. There was an interesting interchange of ideas between delegates and, for the presenters, some challenging questions too.

Kayleigh Smith demonstrates the TROLL 9500
|
We had the opportunity to show off the
TROLL 9500 water quality instrument for the first time, and the delegates were very impressed with its multi sensor, low flow sampling and reporting capability.
Providing hands-on demonstrations in the training room is a powerful way of showing off different sampling techniques. However at the Beckett's Farm training centre we also have the benefit of an on-site borehole where we can demonstrate pumps and other downhole equipment in a field environment (hardly realistic as it's sited in the car park - so no mud!).
Our next groundwater sampling training session is set for September 7th 2011 - check out the
training page on the website for more details or call our technical support team today on +44 (0)121 733 7743.
