Places on the April 14th session were booked up almost immediately. So we have added a second date on Wednesday April 15th at our Birmingham training facility.

This is your opportunity to get right up to date with the latest approaches in groundwater sampling and to see demonstrations of a range of advanced equipment. We even have access to a live borehole!

Renowned hydrogeologist Peter Dumble (Peter Dumble Hydrogeology) and product experts from the In-Situ Europe team will be providing a mix of classroom work, live demos and hands-on activity. Peter will be providing particular emphasis on low-flow and passive sampling techniques and bring you up to speed on current UK legislation.

Monitoring and Removal

The introduction of the Water Framework Directive and other EU environmental legislation has made the protection of groundwater a priority.  The market is demanding from In-Situ Europe the tools to both monitor the threat of pollution and to remove it if the worst happens.

Our water quality monitoring equipment (including the smarTROLL Handheld  and  Aqua TROLL loggers) will highlight changes in key monitoring parameter such as  conductivity, pH and ORP. This will alert you to the early warning signs of potential contamination.

In-Situ Europe  is the UK and Ireland environmental reseller for RAE System PID portable instruments.  These PIDs are ideal for site monitoring and borehole testing for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) and offer sensitivity as low as 50ppb for benzene detection.
