Waterra's next groundwater sampling training course is set for Wednesday 7th September in Birmingham.

The course provides attendees with an understanding of the primary groundwater sampling methods with a focus on low flow and passive (no-purge) sampling.

A range of groundwater sampling equipment will be demonstrated both in the classroom and in the field. There will also be plenty of opportunities for delegates to go "hands-on" and find out exactly how the instruments and techniques work.

We'll be showcasing some of our latest products at the training day including;
The courses are accredited by the Geological Society for CPD with discounts available for Geological Society Members and for multiple bookings.

Places are limited so call us today on 44 (0)121 733 7743 to book your spot or visit the Waterra groundwater training page on our website for more details.

Waterra UK is delighted to announce the appointment of Jon Trelfa as its new Managing Director.

Jon Trelfa - New Waterra UK
Managing Director
With a background in providing strong sales, marketing and management leadership in technical organisations, Jon's role is to ensure that Waterra UK extends its leading position in Groundwater Monitoring to new sectors and champions its growing product portfolio to new audiences.

Jon has joined the company at an exciting point in its development.

"Since our acquisition by In-Situ Inc. earlier this year we have already expanded our product range and now benefit from access to world-class manufacturing, R&D and technical capability."

Jon's appointment allows Peter Dumble to step into his favoured role as full-time Technical Director. This will allow Peter to focus his expertise on product development, training and technical support and remain available as an additional, invaluable resource for Jon Trelfa.

Waterra UK is already enhancing the range of options open to existing customers within the Level and Water Quality markets. Now Jon is expanding the horizons of the organisation even further.

"Waterra is already providing equipment, training and technical support for new applications like aquaculture, surface water flow and quality monitoring. We are getting involved in projects around down-hole logging of water quality parameters, coastal monitoring, and wetlands and conservation monitoring projects.”

“We have the product range, the expertise and the capability to be a significant player in all of these sectors and more, and I am looking forward to meeting many new people in the marketplace to describe what we can achieve for them.”

The input of new products and capability has allowed Waterra to introduce a new theme: Rugged, Reliable and Accurate.  Check out our website today for details of Rugged, Reliable and Accurate products such as the In-Situ TROLL 9500 water quality instrument, the Level TROLL® water level logger range or the Easy Load II peristaltic pump. Easy Load II Peristaltic Pump - Now Available

Easy Troll II - Peristaltic pump
Waterra-In-Situ is delighted to announce the introduction of the Easy Load II peristaltic pump to its product portfolio.

The Easy Load II is ideal for low flow groundwater sampling at depths of up to 8 metres of ground surface. It is also designed for surface water and gas sampling applications.

The most striking feature of the Easy Load II is the simplicity with which sample tubing can be changed. It takes seconds to swap one set of tubing with another - a real time advantage when in the field compared to competitor models.

Easy Load II - Field set up
A key benefit of peristaltic pumps is that they offer highly consistent sampling integrity because samples are retained within the pump tubing while being moved by a mechanical squeezing action.

Waterra-In-Situ is offering the Easy Load II in a range of 3 kits - standalone, with/without a field case and with/without a rechargeable battery pack. High quality platinum cured silicone tubing ensures sample integrity - particularly for VOC's.

For more details of the Easy Load II and our wide range of groundwater monitoring pumps call our technical support team today on +44 (0)121 733 7743.
